    I would go with sliders and then skids. You have factory skids at least already

    Funny thing. Your sliders make more contact than your skids. Thing I learned at Jambo is your either close to the wall or off camber and your rocker is closer to the rocks than your belly is.

    Matthew - if you get the right sized hosing it's an easy 20min job. Or if you have hose that's too small and you're stubborn like me to think it's just a 'snug fit' - it could take 2 hrs.

    In other news, my sliders are at Fastnal. Picking those up tomorrow morning as I got home too late from work to get them today. Plan to at least get them scrubbed down and primed tomorrow.

    I bought 1/4" fuel line from O'Rileys - and spent probably 45mins trying to get it to fit on the union once I had installed it on the diff. Finally gave up, went back to O'Rileys, got there, tried putting the breather end on the now very heavily worked end I had been trying to install on the union, and it fit, so I figured I just needed more elbow grease, so went back home, tried it some more, got it about half way on, then cut and tried the breather end, wasn't even close to going on - so cut the zip ties, went BACK to O'Rileys a second time, got 5/16" fuel line, finished the job in 15mins once I got home.

    Yes.
    I don't have factory skids. I've got the light duty aluminum approach plate, and that's it. TRD Sport, doesn't come with any transmission or differential armor at all.

    Have you taken your truck Offroad yet? Before deciding what I did first i

    1. Took my truck off 1187 and realized I used my nerf bars now sliders more than i bottomed out at stock height

    2. 2.took my truck to bridgeport except this time no nerf bars and realized that skid plates weren't really a necessity yet because the approach angle and ground clearance was so low I couldn't get anywhere to bottom at the truck and when I actually found a spot to do so I high centered.

    3.at Jambo i used my sliders more than anything and the only time I even touched the approach plate it was because I skinny pedaled the shit I shouldn't have.

    4xinnovation makes some damn good sliders And pretty cheap I would say.

    Let the painting begin... once I pick up a 2x6 from Lowes to clamp the plates to, scrub down the sliders with a scotch brite, wipe down with paint prep... then let the painting begin... maybe this evening, maybe Friday, maybe this weekend... let the painting begin!

    I did not powder coat sliders because then you may not have an exact match when you will need to touch them up
