    Just had a lagunitas sucks, and it sucked. It was old. Got warm or something. Tasted like an old ipa that got warm.
    Wish places understood that ipa has a shelf life exp. And must be kept cold. Guess that goes for most beer though.

    Sometimes beer gets better with age. Here we have a 2013 Bourbon Barrel aged winter warmer from Rahr. I have 2 more of these stashed away to enjoy with a 2014 and a 2015 when they come out late this year.
    Figured after almost loosing an eye not wearing safety glasses today this was a good choice.

    Nice tex(Aaron)!Some beers do get better with age and i still have a few set aside from 6months and more passed to enjoy for a special occasion!

    IMO it's the perfect balance of stout/coffee/bourbon...it's pretty damn delicious. That being said, I actually prefer the regular Bourbon County Brand Stout because without the coffee the bourbon flavor comes through even more... and I love bourbon

    I agree!Coffee a lot of times is overwhelming and in my opinion can be not necessary to produce a potential great beer!

    I need a schooling on porters and stouts. I'm more of the wheat, German type beer when I'm buying from a store. When I'm at a brewery I try to taste a different beer every time I go. I'm open to try Them I just need good starter porters & stouts that I can pick up with out have to go to a back ally.
