It's funny how they try to rip you off on the aftermarket parts! I was looking at a truck with a 42" Vision X bar and 6 Vision X pods and a tonneau cover. The manager was trying to justify the outrageous price because the cover and lights together we're $5000! I told them if they're worth that they could pull them off and keep them and knock that 5K off sticker price. They didn't like that idea! Haha

They can take their $5000 and their overpriced modified tacos and shove them up their ass! lol $1200 for a spacer lift and they want so much just because they throw a light bar on.... in their dreams. They act like adding new wheels and tires raises the value when really they're just replacing something that was already on the truck, they just look nicer. Sadly people pay it. Whenever I go there in my tacoma that's just on 2" of lift with OME and a guy with a 3" spacer drives by I feel bad for them because they probably think they're cool with their $1200 spacer lift :D:p but then I get jealous because mine isn't quite at 3" yet... but soon, very soon. I asked if they sold light bars before and they said yeah but when I said I would just install it myself they tried to say I'd mess my truck up (not like I'd buy one from them anyway).

And then they still use the switch that comes with the lights, the basic little red circular one that comes with the rigids, and they throw bull bars on everything there, I mean call me a hater and to each his own but in my opinion a bull bar is one of the worst "mods" you can do, doesn't provide any real function, decreases clearance, the looks are debatable, I guess if it's staying on pavement though then what do they have to loose

Anyone here have tinted front windows? If so what percent, and have you ever gotten a ticket for it? I really want my front windows to match the back.

i think the legal limit is 35 percent. i did get a ticket for mine.... wasn't happy about it. I moved back to Alaska a couple of years ago. i physically had been in the state maybe 12 hours with my truck. left my house and i got pulled over a block down the street. received a ticket for the tint. i think i had 20% at the time.

in all honesty never had a problem with Amazon prime items, just make sure the seller is amazon (versus shops that have "prime" but don't actually ship to alaska). Amazon shipped 4 tires up here within a week of purchase, second day air! same with my smittybilt winch. IDK what shipping contracts they got but ups second day air on tires weighing in at 200+lbs and a winch at 100+lbs has got to be insane

it was leaking a tiny bit of coolant but other than that it was pretty fluid free. fenders hit the front doors, nothing further back

Depends on the frame. If the frame is okay, it wont be totaled. It's a 2014 and it takes like 75% of the vehicles values in damages for it to be totaled.

Yeah, it'll be a pretty big repair bill, but not totaled. definitely require them to use new OEM parts for everything though. Otherwise they'll try to slap on used parts or aftermarket.
