Looks good man... Get new hardware to go with it? From my past experiences you'd be best off buying all new and just cut the old shit off. Already have extended brake lines? If not grab them while you're at it, will only make things easier

 

Looking for 5 16" steel wheels that will fit a 2nd gen sport. Not really interested in factory steel wheels though. Let me know. Thanks.

 

I have 4 mickey thompson classic locks I'm looking to sell soon.. Pics of them are on my build thread, and i also have black rings instead of blue

 

I got the rear lift installed, but haven't done the brake lines yet. They are coming in next week with the super bumps for the front, and I'm picking up new alignment bolts from the dealer this week so I can just cut and replace when I install the front lift. The rear swap was about a 10 hour job for me...about 7 on the passenger side, 3 on the driver. The second side is always easier. The worst part was removing the old u-bolts with a hand sledge and cutting the nut off the top of the stock shock with a dremmel. The right tools would have gone a long way to make this job easier.

 

If anybody is interested, I have a first gen elocker axle (4.10/abs) sitting in my yard for sale haha. The housing is shot, so really it'd be good for the third and axle shafts only.

How was Spring Thaw man? Wish I could've been there, my rig isn't done yet. I'm guessing from the videos on youtube that I've seen that it was a mud fest and really slick.

Elocker motor went out plus I could use a spare 3rd just in case and to possibly regear down the road

 

Man, I have felt that pain on several occasions, the half hour task turns into a 6 hour ordeal. I finally broke down and bought a set of tap and dies, and a big ass bottle of anti-seize. I run the dies down the exposed screws, retap the nuts, and apply generous amounts of anti-seize. I also start drenching with pbblaster a day or two in advance. It works.

 

PB Blaster on Wednesday, Thursday, and again on Friday when I have shit to do on Saturday that I know is going to be a rustfest.

 

Alright, keep in touch if you want to get rid of it. Maybe interested in it. I can get elocker motors cheap.

 

I am a new owner and am located in the Lehigh Valley--Allenton/Easton/Bethlehem area. Also I'll throw it out there that I have an un-used spare, and 4 x stock 10,000 mile use wheels/tires I'd like to sell off my truck. I've obviously upgraded and have no need. Have other take-offs from the truck as I got it: Tonneau cover, side steps, mud flaps.

Hope to bump into some of you folks here and there.

Not too bad. Did more blues this time some were tough. Ended up putting two holes in my driver side front tire though. Trying to get it patched till the end of June when I can afford new tires.
