Where are you located? Do you think you would more prefer coffee, chocolate, or hop/bitter type flavors, and do you want to start with lower abv stuff or some stronger imperial/ double's?

I'd love to have a dedicated beer fridge like that. Living in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment isn't super conducive to that though :(

Too poor to list anything interesting.

I'm in Whittier Ca. I'm not familiar with the names compared to the taste. Does chocolate taste like chocolate in beer? I think I'm going to have to study beers. It might take me a long time...

Experimentation sounds dangerous. I'll just drink them....I think I going to pick up a bottle(s) tonight. Not sure what it I'll be yet.

Yeah many stouts have coffee or cocoa like flavor to them. Some good ones to start with that you should be able to easily find in your area are Modern Times Black House (coffee), Deschutes Black Butte Porter and North Coast Old Rasputin (hoppy and higher abv). Just keep in mind most of these beers wont be very flavorful right out of the fridge, drink them slow and notice how the flavors really come out as they near room temp.

I just looked up those beers up. I've tried Modern Times Black House, but the blue one not the brown one. I'll be trying some of these.
    Thanks.

Are you sure it was Black House? Ive never seen Black house with any blue on the cans. Maybe Booming Rollers or Protocosmos bottle (both ipa's)?
