That sucks ! Dylan do you have Comp on your insurance ? I run my truck with a $0 for that reason theft is a non chargeable claim - so your rates wont go up. Also helps for hail season and windshields

Channel 2 is kind of the unofficial Colorado memebers CB channel.

God damit Dylan. That sucks! I have recently heard as well that the locking bolts don't help either because the thieves seem to have the key.
Interesting. I will have to check with my insurance guy. Thanks for the tip!

That sucks. There is not much you could to prevent theft of lights. Tamper proof Torx might work against the casual thief but anyone can get those sockets. Might be able to do a break away bolt?

Put a tack weld between the bolt and the mount? Not going to stop everybody, but would make it a hell of a lot harder than removing a couple bolts.

I think i'm just going to fully weld the bolt to the mount this time. Maybe draw a middle finger with the welder too. Fuck thieves.

That sucks! Ever since I put the ditch lights and light bar on my truck I've been a lot more paranoid about leaving it parked in public places, especially parking garages and seeing this is certainly not helping :(

I wonder if Eric's old bed rack that I bought from him would fit your truck?? Or if it's close?

I'd be more than happy to let you use it.

Hey Brian need help with the bed rack. I'm off all weekend. I could bring some tools and help you fab something up real quick. I have plenty of steel cutting tools. If you go square tube we could get it done in a day.

Oh cool Noah!!!! Good looking out.

Thanks, it is actually narrower then the 1st gen bed. It might work but I have a cheap solution for now. Do you not have plans to use it anymore?

I'm going to booty fab some straight bars at bed rail height to get me through Moab. After this trip I'll make me decision on what I want to build. I'm not sure I want square/round tube, what height, if I want my topper, all the other little details.

if it starts making noise again below 50 degrees I'm gonna go postal :)

Yeah I thought so, but didnt know if you might be able to easily make it fit. Just thought I would throw it out there.

No plans to use it anymore!
