    How does the Dakars /w Icons ride compared to the Icon C/Os? I just installed the ext C/O and I don't think they're that stiff. I'm hoping the Icon/Dakar combo is the same.

    OME lift 4x sliders 4x skids
    I have the OME 885's with their struts up front and Dakars with extended length Billies in the rear. The truck isn't as rigid as a lifted leaf spring truck, it will soak up turns & not roll the body as bad. The rear is a little stiff with no weight in it but once theres 100#'s or so it actually rides comfortable.

    Maybe your used to the coils in all four corners on your 4Runner?

    I'm sorry...im new to Tacomas and not sure wat all the abbreviations mean...wat is C/O exactly? I wouldn't say this combo is stiff though... if anything it may be a little soft and the reason why I feel what I do. On a smooth road with no bumps it feels great.

    Yeah you're right...when i have some weight in the bed it does seem to handle a little better. I was considering actually changing out the Dakar for the stock leafs with a add a leaf just to see how it reacts.

    C/O is coil over. Meaning coil over shock.

    My guess is that your used to the 4runner which doesn't have leaf springs. Or the fact that icons are "digressive" ( I believe that's the term) meaning they are better at slower speed. Where as foxes are "progressive" meaning better at higher speed.

    It's been a while since I've read about shocks but I think that was the way it works.

    What do you mean by "better"? Icons will soften up more as you go faster. Foxes will stiffen up more as you go faster.
