Well I'm pulling the trigger on the exhaust today. I've legit been losing sleep over this with all the different videos I have watched and ideas I have seen. I just called up Henry's and he didn't have the particular one in stock that I wanted but he had a similar one that is 'used.' It had only been on a vehicle for less than 2 weeks and he is willing to let it go for half price. Single in single out Magnaflow 18" and a tip all installed for $125. I can't beat that anywhere I have looked...and believe me I have looked just about everywhere

My appointment is at 2. I am sure the 5 hour wait I now have will cause me serious heart conditions but hopefully I will drive out of there with a big grin on my face. I'll try and post a vid before I hit the road for the beach tonight.

 

Just cleared it with the wife too, I think that part may have been more stressful. She's under the impression that it "won't be too much louder"...hopefully she doesn't hear me coming up the driveway when I get home or it could be a quick trip back to the shop

Well, I am at the shop now. Taco is up on the lift. He brought out the used 18" and sat it down next to a new 14". We took a look under the taco and she has 4 cats before the muffler. He said with that kind of set up its really going to restrict the noise on the muffler. I was torn between the 14" and 18" from the get anyway. He said $200 for the 14" and $125 for the 18" because it was used. I told him I liked the idea of the 14" if he thought it would be restricted by the cats but I didn't like that price jump. We settled on $180. That's including a 3.5 inch stainless tip.

I'm sitting in the lobby now. I feel like I'm in a hospital waiting room waiting to hear some good news.

 

When i put on my Areo Turbine, i left all my cats and im glad i did. Its a nice low tone, with no rasp at all
