    Good job man! See, that wasn't so hard.

    Pro tip: Lay wet towels on the backside of the sheetmetal you are welding. It helps distribute the heat a little and resists blowing through, and as an added bonus keeps your cab from igniting.

    We did that but I guess I slacked on my duties and I let the welding get beyond my heat soaking. Thankfully I had Eddy to help with this process or it never would have happened. Especially with as thin and Shitty to weld on the factory sheet metal was. You look at it funny and it'll blow a hole through it. I never could have welded it. Fortunately Eddy can.

    Hell I saw him weld two pine trees together on a bet. No shit.

    Yup that's mine. It looks kinda weird without my black flares on there. Hopefully I'll have them back on in the next week or two.

    I've spent every day off for the past month working on the truck, so I may take a break for a week or two. I gotta get my tool boxes organized though and some wiring cleaned up.

    Have a wheeling trip/wedding lined up for June so I'll get to test out the new tires finally. You have no idea how much I envy guys that live close to their wheeling spots. I have to drive 3.5hrs to the closest trail or park

    Thank you sir. You and username were my inspiration on this one. Y'all paved the way, now I think it's pretty well documented what needs to happen to make 37s fit on a second gen with or without long travel.

    I don't know of any close parks or trails that are worth the drive. There's a mud park close to my school but no where to do real wheeling. Gulf coast problems.
