What's funny is my previous truck is a total piece of shit. 2001 Ford F150 that is beat to hell. Paint, concrete, glue, dents, scratches, rust, and a couple accidents. And that's the truck I took her out in on our first date over eight years ago. The problem is that this new Tacoma is just that...NEW! And not cheap. So the first scratches are always a tough pill to swallow. Just give it a few years and it'll be fine.
    :burnrubber:

Anyway, I doubt the wax will keep the scratches at bay. I thought about putting on a clear bra paint protection down both sides of the truck, but it's not cheap.

Finally got around to installing my Redline Tuning hood struts, they are awesome.

I also have a Redline Tuning EZ down tailgate kit. I went to install it and found out that one of my tailgate bolts that needs to be replaced by a bolt in the kit, is completely stripped out beyond beliefe. Debating on drilling it out, or just selling the kit to someone here.

    And of course... Pictures!

    Looks good!
Noticed your brake master looks a little low, have you checked/adjusted your brakes lately?

Super easy, as long as you are comfortable with drilling, carful to not over do it on the drill and punch a hole in your hood, and have a pop rivet gun! Took me about an hour because I went slow and triple checked all my measurments

stealership just did a full inspection on the truck, got me new headlights and did oil, said brake fluid looks good for now, but brakes need to be done soon. I got home and rechecked myself when I had a window of time with less back pain than normal. Have about 1/4 left on the pads, so I'll be changing them shortly and do fluid then

Cool, I always notice fluid levels, low master usually indicates brake issues!

made a removable platform for transporting motorcycles easier (i'm a buyer for a dealership and pick up a bike at least 1-2 times per week). figure i'll just take the removable parts of the chock out, and keep the rest in until at least winter

We call it a tailgate and no I haven't done that. But I've done equally stupid shit more than once. :D

As long as everyone survived, all is good.

:notsure:Having trouble understanding this ^, but if the pads are worn out then replaced, the fluid level should come up, don't forget to have the rears cleaned and adjusted.

Typo, but that's exactly what I was trying to say haha. I've never messed with drum brakes before, so that'll be a learning experience for me
