What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

First time I took the front end off, fun 6 pack mod

 

Power of eBay. This is the seller. I got all 5/16" from end to end.

 

Installed a BackRack (ladder or headache rack for you Yanks)



I needed to do a little fudging to make it fit with the tonneau cover. I drilled 2" offset holes in the base bar of the rack so that the adapter brackets spanned the box properly, then drilled holes in my bed rails to mount it.



Not to worry about the holes rusting, there is so much anti-rust goop in the box sides, that my arms were all greased up when done.

 

Which rain visors do you have there?

 

Got an alignment after installing new front springs yesterday.

Decided to take the flag off the house and put on my Tacoma. I'll be flying Old Glory all weekend.

 

Also installed Redline Tuning hood struts. Was an easy install. And the guys and Redline Tuning were great to deal with. Upgrade your engine with this easy mod.

 

Decided to add another pic of the flag. Here you can see the custom decal Ghost made me.

 

Just installed my Redline struts as well, I love em. Did you do the tailgate EZ drop as well? Or just the struts?

 

No. I didn't see they had them. That will definitely go on my list. I'm gonna go check them out now.

 

Well I am most likely selling mine... went to install it, and one of the stock Hex screws on my tailgate that needs to be replaced by one in the kit is stripped way beyond belief...

 

Cut a line across it and use a flat head bit. It's worked for me several times.

 

Wives just don't understand!!!

 

Do not order the ez tailgate drop thing. I'm pretty sure, unless there was a redesign, that many people had trouble fitting them to the truck and ended up not using them. Search for the problem on here before you buy it, just a forewarning
