Well me and my wife have decided to get a puppy. We'll be picking her up this weekend. She'll be just under 8 weeks old!

I'll post pictures once we get her!

Get ready to loose a few nights sleep. My new puppy kept me up 2 nights then I took benadryl put her in the laundry room. Closed as many doors between the bedroom and her and got some sleep. Let us know what kind and you have to post pics.

Just picked her up today. She's awsome. Already found out something really cool. If you throw a toy a little in front of her then she'll walk up to it, stop, then lift her front paws up and jump onto it.

Can't post pics yet as I'm writing this on my phone. I will tomorrow for sure. Can't wait to take her out in the truck offroad.

Just remember this.... a good puppy is a TIRED puppy. Make sure she gets plenty of exercise and she'll be too tired to get into anything. :D

We have 2 male black labs. Shadow is 9 yrs old & Colt is 10 mos old. They have completely different personalities. Shadow has ALWAYS been a mellow dog, whereas Colt is the excited pounce around type. Both good dogs.

One trick we learned when we got our puppy was to take an old t-shirt that you've worn and wrap it around a clock that ticks. The shirt will have your smell on it and the clock ticking sounds close enough to it's mothers heartbeat that it won't stay up all night whining and howling for its mother. Should save you some loss of sleep if it works as well for you as it did for us.
