Alright guys so today i have been goin crazy i have no clue what i want to do with my truck (08 reg cab 4 cily 2wd). i dont know if i should keep the street look i have goin on or go for an off road look.

these are the mods i have now- Magnaflow exhaust, 18" black chrome rims, 255/55-18 (about 30's) falken tires, DT header, Knn intake, and satoshi grill.

so if i kept my look now (street look) these are the mods i would do, BHLM same with the tail lights and 3rd break light, maybe a locker (incase i wana throw on my old tires and go camping)

if i went with the off road look i would deff throw a locker on there, ready lift, 255/55-18 general grabber A/T 2, light mods, maybe change out the bumpers, a canvas camper shell, and i think thats it.

or do the lift and locker and buy another set of rims and tires and have best of both??

i just dont know what to do i keep going back and forth what do you guys think?

o this is my truck now...

Your truck looks good now.....if you have no idea.......don't do anything. No sense spend money on something that you are not 100% in to.

    Very good advice!!!

    Taco505,
Sooner or later...the light bulb will go off and you'll know what to do. Start saving some money for when you're ready.

You could always lower it, put XRunner skirts on it, mud terrain tires, front bumper with a winch, roll cage.....
    JUST KIDDING!

+1 looks great now. Just do a few power or interior mods to your taste.
If you do go for the offroad look though, thats always a good setup on a 5 lug..... it'll be 300+ lbs lighter or so than my 4wd reg cab.

I agree!!!!!! Lower it a little. Powder coat the wheels black with the BHLM and taillights with dark tinted windows. and you'll be set.

Be really crafty. replace your bed with a 5' one from a double cab, then add the new s/c from Alpine we keep hearing rumors on. Then if you aren't in debt, add a good long travel kit.

well thaks for all the input guys, i think i may just stick with the street look. i just get damn jealous over all of your 4x4 drives me nuts! but either way i love my taco and as much as truck is a "street" truck i really dont like driving cars. I love how truck ride and handle and plus i use my bed alot, like today for example i do some landscaping on the side, im just tryin to save up for anther truck for work hopefully a 4x4 i think i just jumped the gun! haha but once again thanks everyone
