Not that my comments were exactly nice or sensitive or understanding, but comments like this imply that there's something to 'understand' that other people are too stupid to be able to comprehend.

And as far as that dually, I believe they're on bags so they can raise it up for towing.

I'll take that bet…… I'd like to see that truck follow me around for 30 min on a city street hauling what I haul every week. That my friend is a transvestite of trucks and I’m not talking about that cage fighter transvestite either. I’m talking about the ones that hang out at a mall watching little kids walk by.

    air bags clear speed bumps

air bags raise it to tow

that dually will double what your truck can handle.i know this is a taco site but you cant compare a taco to a dually.that dually can tow 4 tacomas and a tacoma couldnt tow 1 dually.doesnt matter city streets, country roads, or major highways. you have no chance buddy

It makes sense if you only need a truck to carry light loads in the bed, but you still want a sporty, agile vehicle.

I love both worlds, I just dont see the reason to lift a 2wd truck? So low I go... it'll be even lower when I get home!!

I gotta say if I had the cash I would get an X runner for my DD and keep mine for wheelin. I don't like them slammed to the ground but the low stance looks cool imo. There are alot of setups on this site that I dont like but the owners love them. What about all the 5 lugs that are lifted with 285s on them does that piss you guys off more.

i dont mind lifted 2wd but i hate to see lifted 2wd with 44s

if all you can afford is a 5 lug, than make the best of what you got. again i wouldnt want to see 44s on a 5 lug 2wd 4 banger

I think a lifted 5 lug 4 banger is a absolute waste of cash. There are vids out there of x runners beating all kinds of cars at the track. I dont see vid of 5 luggers out wheeling any 4x4.

Thats the beauty of cars and trucks. If you don't like a slammed truck, don't drive one. How can any of you talk trash on slammed trucks when there are tons of people who would say that driving a truck is unnecessary? You could get a Prius and have a trailer for the one day a year you actually use the bed of the truck.

Just relax, I happen to like slammed street rides just as much as I like built trail rigs. They both take a lot of skill to build correctly in their own right, and they're both tons of fun to drive. They're just different, that's all.

And until you've driven down the street and heard the bump bump bump of all the road reflectors being knocked off, don't bash the slammed trucks.
