I sort of needed a small part of my dad in the new kitchen. We redid the kitchen 25 years ago together. I missed him a lot when we had the kitchen done this past winter.

Due to the age I'm guessing its well built - better than the little plastic steps available today. I'm sure dad would approve of it getting reused and not just tossed out or tucked away in storage

Even better. And how many times during the remodel did you think "dad would have done it this way..."? That's still him helping.

Weesa's good. Got my 1st maintenance dose allergy shot today. Biggest dose I can get and now I only have to get them every other week instead of 2 times a week....for the next 3 to 5 years. Yay.
Glad to hear you're nearing the end of the great stump digout!

Do the shots seem to be working? You think they are worth it?

Yup!!! finish this one and one more... Sure hope the last one isn't as big a pain as this one is.... Lots of roots in one area, making digging a pain in the butt. But, this too shall pass (even if I have to get some charcoal and a couple bottles of lighter fluid!!!)

    How are you?

 Most people getting stuff done for free are more appreciative of the work being done... Just grin and say "yes, ma'am" and keep thinking to yourself... this job will be done soooooon!!!

too soon to tell I think. I'm not expecting a cure, would be happy if my allergies are just knocked down a notch or two.
And I'll bring the marshmallows....and fire extinguishers!

I deal with those types too. sometimes I just get a feeling about people. Getting everything documented in emails is a good step.

Yup I do everything in email and text. No chance of the customer manipulating conversations

:jellydance: Looks like fun. I wish the camper was done so we could go camping already...

Yep, we got a ton of rain that day.

Camera is working fairly great. The weird thing is playing with all of the extra settings, like close up, portrait, landscape, etc. I feel like just setting it to auto does a better job at what that specific setting was supposed to do. The one I do find useful is sports. It sets the shutter speed lower than auto usually does (1/1000, while auto usually does 1/250) and burst mode is automatically on. Other than that I am still learning about some of the manual settings.

That last tip was how I learned where to put the shutter speed when messing around on shutter priority. haha I tried taking some pics with really fast and really slow shutter speeds that turned out horrible.

I'll have to look for the bracketing feature.
