    read the entire thread, but just wanted to see what gauge power wire are you guys using to connect from the battery to the breaker and to the groung? 0 might be overkill, so i was thinking of getting marine grade 600V 8AWG from my local West Marine store. What are the specs of the ring terminals and how did you guys crimp them on and water proof them? I'm assuming shrink tube with heat gun?

    I would just use shrink tube as mentioned. You can use 8 or even 4 Gauge wire. Its only about a foot or two that you need so it wont be that expensive. Check out your local auto sound shop.
