So I bought a TRD CAI off ebay but didn't receive the instructions, MAF sensor gasket or the 5/32 tubing that goes to the pressure regulator.

Can someone tell me what size/type of gasket I need before I start taking my truck apart?

there is a gasket that's already on the MAF sensor...you will see it when removing the sensor from the stock intake...

tubing for pressure regulator? are you talking about the vacuum line that is hooked up to the stock intake...if so that same line is reused for the TRD CAI...

pictures will also help describe the parts that you are missing...let me know if you need pics of my setup that way we have a better idea of what parts are missing...

I have a Airaid CAI on my truck now. I want to get rid of the stock airbox and replace it with the tube on the TRD CAI kit. Can you order only the tube? What is the PN? Is that all I need to order or do I need any other items? Anything I need to know when I do this?
    Thanks

the vacuum tube can be purchased at any auto parts store. it needs to be longer than stock to get to the TRD tube. just take your stock one to the store and buy two feet of the same size tubing and use only what you need.

i just installed my TRD CAI last night and we don't have MAF gaskets stock. the gasket that came with the TRD CAI was approx 1/8" foam, maybe a little thinner. you could make one with some gasket material from the auto parts store. basically it just creates a good seal between the MAF and the un-perfect non-machined mounting surface of the TRD intake tube.

    hope that helps. good luck.

What I am looking for is the intake tube that feeds the air into the engine. I want to take off the stock air box that is mounted to the engine now and replace it with the tube like is on the TRD setup.

sorry i was responding to the OP. guess i should have quoted him.

i can't help you with what you are looking for except you can just rig up any tube. you have to have provisions to pull vacuum for the fuel pressure regulator, crankcase ventilation, and MAF sensor which must be placed in a very specific position to function properly. not much help from me but good luck!

You can't buy any of the TRD CAI parts individually. I even contacted TRD.

I broke the rubber insulated mounting stud that goes on the fender when I installed mine.

The gasket they supply with the TRD unit is a small foam doughnut that makes up for the slop that the MAF has in the TRD tube. Just use some dense foam (like what you might find at a craft store) and make it fit.

I bought a K&N off of ebay and the dickhead that sold it to me shorted me on the same tubing you speak of. I just went down to Advance Auto Parts and bought a couple feet of (whatever size the directions called for, maybe 5/32) rubber fuel line. Worked like a charm.

Wow, I've been without Internet for the last couple of days but glad people are still reading this post.

All I can say is never buy stuff like this second hand because i'm also the trim for the air box to the fender is also damaged so now i have to source something for that too.

My CAI is still sitting in my garage. :(
