Look for some pictures soon. I have a way for you to lower your tent.

BTW, nice work on the utlittrac stuff on the sides. That is a great idea.

The 1st gen is a bit narrower 44" vs 47". The double cab will likely be the same way.

Cool, I just recently got a cap and it has no rack so I was curious if I could get the backrack first and wait for the double cab to come out, but I'll just wait for both then.

Thanks Zach. I'm real happy with the rack. I found the track at my local Northern Tool. The small sections fit perfectly in the pre-drilled holes on the four corners of the rack. Bonus.

    Looking forward to those pictures!

It looks like a tie-down ring mounted to the back of the Cabrack. Doesn't look like a track to me. Could serve a useful purpose, many options to do on this rack...... Looks nice!!!!!!!!!!

Nobody has done it so far but mounting one of my topracs to a tonneau would be easy if it had the tracks on it like a shell.

Probably obvious to most but I want to make sure. Should the bonded washers be placed on the roof under the rack spacers? It has been years but I think the mastic washers that came with my OEM roof rack were placed right against the roof, then bolt everything down. Same here? I bought Everbilt #12 galvanized bonded sealing washers from Home Depot. They seemed to be the tightest diameter fit with the bolts used to secure the rack to the roof. I can't easily push the bolt through the washer without threading the bolt through so that should provide a tight seal once compressed.

I'm curious if those of you with lightbars used security bolts of any kind or just used red loctite. I used the tamper resistant torx button head screws suggested by geekhouse23 and RectorSeal Tru-Blu suggested by DoorDing for my crossbars. If someone really wants the lightbar they could unbolt the light from the brackets, brackets from the crossbar or just cut the side rails and pop the crossbar + bracket/light right off the truck. A serious crook will get the light if they want it so I don't want to spend too much on special bolts. Curious what others have done.

Any suggestions for wind noise? Have the spoiler on the lowest setting....should I move it up a notch, or add a noodle as I saw in one of the post?

What have you done to your truck lately
I'm using torx button head security bolts with tri groove nuts for the light bars and just the hex security button heads for the cross bars. Got my bolts from Albany county fasteners and it's all SS. https://www.albanycountyfasteners.com
If they are going to take the light bar they going to take it then so be it.
