How do I change the transmission oil in manual transmission? I think I might have dirty fluid.

Remove the fill plug first! Then the drain plug. Drain fluid, replace drain plug and fill until fluid comes out of the fill plug. Probably not a bad idea to get new crush washers and spray the plugs with penetrating fluid the day before just in case.

Probably need a pump or something to refill since you can't pour directly into the trans.

Without question, get new washers. They are like a $2 at the dealership. You may need to buy an extra up front, there were two different size plug for my 98. Of course I bought the wrong size and had to go back to get the right one.

You can pour into the trans. Have to pull the shifter out.

    That's worth a shot!

Will do! The belts don't squeal, its just a really whiney noise....I just thought of something, maybe I should pop the hood and have the wife move the steering wheel so I can locate the noise......Not sure why I havent thought of that...lol

If I am replacing the pulley I might as well do all the belts

Oh ok, that's easier than I thought lol. For some weird reason I was thinking I might have to drop the pan for the transmission. But I don't think I'll have to unless replacing a filter

Looks good, me personally I don't mind the fender flares. I don't like the looks of them either, but I like how they keep some mud or rocks being fringed around. Also I rather not see the holes in my fenders from them being mounted.

Yea the mount holes are annoying. I actually removed them because they got mud behind them this last weekend and i didnt want the paint behind them them get more scratched up, and eventually im gonna run 35s so they have to come off sooner or later.

May not be crazy about the idea but a guy I work with has a 2000 4 runner and when he took his flares off he welded the holes and sanded it down then bedlined where they were and down the rocker panel it looks good
