That mirror riser rocks. I'm running the same thing but haven't used the Ram mount for anything yet.

Test fit the bikes on my new bike mount setup. Rocky Mounts SD Clutch with Tacoma Hardware. They felt quite solid, although I may adjusted the location of the skewer to get a tigter fit for the wife's bike. It's very well made though, I'm impressed.

It's definitely solid. But just be careful when adjusting the mirror. The offset makes it act like a lever and puts higher forces on the mounting point at the windshield. If you crank on it too hard, you run the risk of cracking the windshield. This info is directly from a phone conversation I had with someone at Bird Dawg.

I put stainless steel bolts in the mounting holes for the front bumpers cover instead of those plastic inserts.....much tighter

That's cool. Been wanting to do that with orange leds to match the orange lighting in the cab. I wanted to place one led right between the map lights. A mood lighting of some sort, not too bright, actually a little on the dim side so it's not too distracting. Been lazy and don't know where to get leds that aren't bright as hell, something that can pass as factory equipped.

Those are Ambers. They are bright enough to see, but not enough to distract.

Those are awesome, but I think I'll wait a little while until that one.

You can check out flyzeyez ( I think that's how it's spelled). He's a vendor on here and makes led panels that attach under the stereo surround. You can wire it to your a/c harness and it'll come on when your parking lights are on. You can choose white and another color of your choice. I love mine. Bright enough to see but not too bright to distract.

I've had the truck for 2 years now, waxed reguraly throughout winter, been slacking this spring. It's been getting worse since the melt :O

If it's an '05 and you got it used, the damage was probably already done by the previous owner unfortunately.

Cool I will check it out thanks! I make 300 mile trips at least twice a month and usually at night. I have my Entune radio screen off and the dashlights as dim as possible on these trips. My friend had a 2008-09 Murano and it had the orange ambient lighting above between the map lights that I would like for my Tacoma. It was just enough light without being distracting.
