What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

All I did was armor all'd my fender flares. And it worked pretty well.

 

I was actually going to do that except bedline them, but really I just need the front flares. Unless there's a way to fix the rubber trim that's between the flare and the fender?
My passenger side is coming off so I just tucked it in

My truck might be giving you a run for its $ within the next week or so

 

I used the mothers back to black and it lasted for about 5 days haha.

 

I saw you were getting retros! Anything else?

I bed lined them and it didn't turn out to good. It held the dirt so I took them off for a while and finally repainted them. Debating on selling them

 

Well my fj Toyota emblem just came in today, satoshi grille should be coming in tomorrow, gonna color match my grille, put in a new headlight filler panel, and then the retros sometime next week. Gonna try to slap it all on at once, so complete front makeover.

 

Yea, I'm waiting for it to rain and see if they go back to being faded lol

 

I just read a thread on that, but they said 303 aero protectant works the best?

Thanks man! I held off the cosmetic mods for a long time so I said "screw it, lets do this"
Put too much $ into a RTT, supercharger, 7th kit, and leather seats

 

I thought the spray would work better than wipes. But I was just curious on how it'll come out like instead of wasting time and money on something pointless is all. Plus I already had the armor all wipes and it only took about 5 minutes

I did cheap mods like that until I got a real job and cash started flowing. Got sliders and skid plate, moving on to a bumper

I remember watching a video on YouTube and they used a heat gun or something and it made the plastic look new again lol.

 

You did say you have a manual, right? The 5-speed doesn't have a pan or a filter.

i was looking to keep the all silver look, but i thought about doing that.

im going to hang onto them, never know maybe ill decide to put them back on.

 

is there any write ups on changing the door handles?
