Hey guys. I wanted to mount 8" shocks in the rear and came across curiosities.
    1. I'll need to fab a new mount to run them instead of the OEM mounts..any fab guys have tips where to mount at? Or if it's even possible to fab in the shock mounts.
    2. Are the shocks too long/long enough to run?

You can run 10" shocks in the stock location. Mine are 16" coll, 26" ext. in the stock mounts.

Do you still run the stock lowers on the axle as well?

Same here. Icon 2.5s that are 10.3" travel. Stock mounts (required minor grinding on the lower shock mount), using OME Dakar springs, all pro u bolt flip kit with wheelers super bumps.
