Ok I have heard a lot of people talking about this and seen them in a few pictures of the trucks on here. What is a scan gauge? What is its purpose?

Use the Search feature in the top blue bar toward the right side. There's lot of information already on the forum.

You can also visit their website directly.

The integrated Trip Computer provides realtime feedback while simultaneously tracking three sets of trip data. The Digital Gauges give you realtime data for your vehicle and the built-in Scan Tool allows you to read trouble codes and diagnose potentially expensive problems before they get out of hand.

The hardest part about the install, is figuring out where you want to mount it.

How does the calculated MPG work on lifted trucks... since the Scan Gauge plugs directly into the trucks system... it is reading an odometer the isn't truly accurate. Is there a way to adjust this calculation on the Scan Gauge?
