black pinstripe on silver dbl cab or no?

silver double cab with black pinstripe on it stock. take it off?

 

I left mine on only because it complements the black and silver theme i'm going for. I think it usually looks much cleaner without it though.

 

Took mine off two weeks ago because it was peeling and looked like hell. truck looks way better without it.

To remove:
1. Get a hair dryer and heat the pin stripes up
2. Slowly peal off pin stripes while continuing to use hair dryer on the area your removing
3. Get a can of WD40 and some paper towels. Spray the WD40 where the adhesive from the pins stripes where
4. Wipe off.. The WD40 takes the adhesive right off.
5. Wash truck.
6. Enjoy.

 

ive been thinking of putting a black barbed wire pin stripe down the side of mine

 

That's what i'm worried about. I'll probably take mine off at some point before it starts cracking.

 

Just fyi, this poll has been done, though not specifically for silver tacomas. No pinstripes won overwhelmingly.

I saw that on some car last week and just about literaly started laughing out loud.

no offense but if this is your truck in the picture i think the truck looks sick with them on . a shame you took it off.

I have a silver '05 access cab and recently saw a dbl cab with a stripe, I think it really set the truck off. I am thinking of adding one to mine, all a matter of taste I suppose.

 

i say no pinstripe, i like the "stripped" look better

On silver it's hit or miss, depends on the model and mods.

IMO, white trucks look like something is missing with no pin stripe.
