Installed my H4 and H11 fog light bulbs yesterday. They seem so much brighter, but not sure if they are really brighter or just appears that way because they are a different color? They sure make the road signs reflect and the fogs are a great improvement.

When you installed your bright ass led's did you reuse the rubber grommet that was on the original bulb? I just installed them and could not figure out how to reuse it. Thanks

cut a slit in it per instructions, then push it all the way on before screwing on the cooling fan. the person who said they didn't need to do anything to the boot is full of crap or installed the incorrect bulb.

I installed mine from BA Led's about two months ago, love them, other than the fact, I have a lot of static resistance through my radio when I cut them on. I turn them off, and the static goes away. Any solution?? Is this a radio issue, because I never experienced it until I installed the LED's.

I don't have any issues with mine. However, the reception on my radio has always sucked. I have never had a vehicle with such crappy reception of radio stations.

just like changing a regular bulb, except you will need to make a slit in the rubber boot for the wire to the transformer. Comes with double stick tape or cable ties for mounting the transformer.

fogs and headlight? If you get fogs, do them first, they are super easy. Don't loose the stupid spring clips, Removing the battery will make the drivers side easy, but the tank on the passenger side gets in the way and unbolting doesn't really give any much more room

Installed them took 2 hours to install the first one 15min the 2nd one. One of the most frustrating things ive done so far.

anyways just wanted to bring up this isnt really a "kit" its just LED bulbs with a transformer. The packaging is generic i feel kinda ripped off. These bulbs can be purchased off other websites for around $99. What do i get for the other $35 i spent? would be nice if it came with direction maybe location to were to mount the transformer or even a modified gasket to replace the one that needs to be cut up.

Oh well now that i know everyone sources the bulbs from the same Chinese manufacture ill go ahead and purchase the fog light bulbs from the cheapest distributor.

Just finished the install. Overall, kind of a pain in the ass. And the directions could use some work.

The BA LED's are a direct replacement of stock halogens. No retrofit or modifications needed. I thought this was a simple plug and play, but it did take some work to get the new LED bulb to fit within the rubber housing and then connect the cooling fan. I must have tried a dozen ways. To make matters worse (as others have mentioned) the battery (driver's side) and windshield washing fluid (passenger's side) are in the way. I disconnected both and didn't notice significant improvement in clearance.

As others have mentioned, I did not have to cut the rubber housing. I simply slipped the wire from the LED bulbs and bulb through the rubber housing. You really have to push hard to ensure proper clearance for the threads to connect the cooling fan. Then manipulate the rubber housing to place the LED bulb in the proper location to secure with the metal clip in the headlight. Trust me, it's harder than it sounds and you will likely share a few curse words. So take a deep breath and have a beer - you'll get it eventually.

Once this is done, connect the transformer and secure with double stick tape or a screw (which I did). Then connect the wire from the truck to the transformer and you are good to go.

Overall, a great product. Lots of light. And a nice white color. And you have to respect and appreciate a company which spends a lot of time here answering questions and offering discounts to TWers.
