Recently saw a LCA broken just like this on a first gen at Wheeler Lake. This guy didn't even wheel hard and it's an easy trail.
LBJ's are normal maintenance and done already. She won a set of ball joints at Rock Therapy last year. Courtesy of Low Range Off Road.

Is there going to be an "After 2015 Rock Therapy Picture Thread" ? Just to see what the ones that aren't there (like me) miss?

Yeah its on 37s...since its an expo style rig not built for insane crawling/high speed they aren't really rubbing as bad as my +2 set up with 35s.

    Just a few
Should be relatively close in size since you can use the same coil overs on each rig.....

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
Hey guys finally got down into town after a 3 day parts strip fest on my truck and informed the wife who is deployed right now. It was my truck that flopped down the hill after hitting a pot hole on the dirt road leaving BFE. Had a nasty bumpsteer that just pulled me right off the edge where there was no shoulder likely caused by the amount of rain in the area over the last month. Rolled a few times down the canyon and took out quiet a few trees. Good news is that both the dog and myself were unhurt except for some glass cuts from the windows going blowing out. I can't thank everyone who helped me get the truck out of the canyon enough, namely konsta, jberry, aaronArf, beerad, jace, mademan, Ckeene and lauren and many many others who assisted in the days following taking care of me and my dog!

The truck was absolutely destroyed but made it up under her own power with lots of winching help from the folks up on top. She is now totalled after we striped all the parts off her and I am already brain storming the next build... but she wasn't worth a salvage with a bent frame and what not. If it was just cosmetic she may have become a flat bed/tube door trail truck but this was just way too damaged. Couldn't have had a better spot for a part out and I'm glad most of my stuff made it off the truck and someone can enjoy the parts...Rolled on to the tow truck on 265s, open rear and eibach front shocks....didn't even recognize her.

But again I'm good, dogs good and getting plans together for another build once the wife cools off a little...

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
They really did strip it all... even the rear end! I'm glad to see your parts were able to let others have some fun for a few more days.

Sorry about your truck, and we are all glad you are safe and unharmed. Now use that deployment savings for some better stuff!

Question, did you give your spindles and ones lca to the guys too, or didn't want to go that deep into tearing it down?

Yeah it was crazy watching her being torn down but I am thankful I was where I was considering I had to part her out before the insurance company took her. I was doing my best to keep others wheeling using parts off my truck. Sadly the LCA and spindle damage happened after the truck had already been turned over to the towing company. Would love to have kept 2 more trucks rolling.
