Its stupid thick, but beats dumping fresh PS fluid into the truck every other week. Stopped my leak almost completely and I never noticed any issues or noise but then again my truck is a little different than most. I bet I was running pretty much straight Lucas by the end haha

Thanks. From there back I'm going design a full undercarriage in separate sections because it's going to take one hell of a beating on colorado trails. I'll be able to fix stuff in sections as it gets beaten up.

Anyone here have some 18" 650 or 18 600 coils I could try?? I have 18" 700lbs now and with my kit I cant run a flat bottom on the coil over so there is preload on it. Id like to have a bit more down travel then I do.

I cant say from experience but im running 16x8 4.5bs on a TC +3.5 kit no problems. I dont know if you could clear 315s without spindles though, Im clearing 285/75/16s but anything more than that and I would rub

allpro long travel, shackle flip with ome dakars, cruisin offroad bumpers and sliders, 4.88 gears with arb's front and rear, budbuilt skids.
With 315's and 4.5'' backspacing your tires will be all over the spindle and upper control arm, especially if you have a spindle gusset.

Yeah. But there's going to have a diff there eventually. Out here in the snow. The 4x4 will help.

I see what you mean. I'm planning on add skids all the way back past the transmission. But it's easier building it in sections instead of one long bumper.

How come no one countersinks the skid and runs socket cap screws so they are flush with the skid and don't proteude?

I was going to countersink the belly skid bolts. Not the stuff on the front. My last skid I had the bolt head did wear down. But the idea is there. I just didn't think it was a need for the front higher bolt that don't rub over stuff. But that's just me.

315s are under 12'' wide so 4.5 will be tight but do able.

You know who would know is Paul. He has 315s on his lt front. He did have to run spacers still though. I don't remember what rims he has though. @ponethousand

I see what you mean about the bolts. I wanted to do something. That would slide better but meh

So did you have to add the 1" diff drop for the LT? That's what I thought so I guess I over compensated for that. That's why it's that low. I wanted to make sure top of pipe was below diff with the 1" diff drop.

I have an 1/8" diff drop... Two washers stacked in there.

Keeps the diff off the skid and I have no issues with my CV axles
