I bet its the headlight fluid. I've been going to my local mechanic for years and every time my truck starts running rough, he tops off my headlight fluid and I go on my way. The stuff is very expensive and usually only lasts a month however. The service he performs however is very quick. I'm usually in and out within a few minutes!

He's busy working through the solutions. Just stripped a bolt head on the tranny and looking for the headlight fluid reservoir.

That headlight fluid is some sneaky stuff! When I installed my HID kit, I did not change to an HID approved fluid. Needless to say it created a large mess. In the words of apple tech support: "is it plugged in?"

Sounds like a serious problem. I have missed my 99 since I traded it in. I can swap you a (running) 96 civic hatch for your non running 99 taco. Just let me know I have title in hand.

    Seriously.....

You need summer air in the tires. It was probably traded in in the winter and hasn't been switched out to summer air.

Plus, has he swapped in the summer carb belts? I'll be he's still go the winter ones on there. They are too stiff in the warmer air, they don't pump enough fuel
