No you just have to keep an eye on those. They pop out every now and then.

I think you'd be dissapointed by that cooler. It uses a TEC (thermo-electric cooler) plate and those take a lot of power to generate very little cool air. I'd try to find something that has a compressor.

 

Thats like what jess and i have used for the last 3 years. Works fine.

But not as nice as a real fridge by a long shot. No temp control. Just 40º below ambient or something.

Draws a lot more power then a normal one as it runs all the time too.

 

Yea it worked fine for the most part. You'd want to run it all the time though and it killed my 2nd battery more than once. better then ice no matter what.

Id opt for a real fridge though. Buy once cry once.

 

Ben, buy that thing if you want warm beer.

Mine has never popped out, let alone fall out onto the ground.

I'm with Ben on this one. Both he an Jarred have the new style fly and have hardly been used. Their fly isn't like ours. Ben's looked like it wasn't properly assembled. I suspect the same with Jarred's.

 

So I was in Rock Springs/Green River today werkin and I noticed on my drive down and back that our trip this friday through sunday may be pretty moist... If we get more rain this week we will definitely need to pic an alternate route. If ya'll are still game for it I say we try the way we have planned and adjust the route accordingly as we find mud. If you guys still want to do the trip this weekend?

Sidenote, I'll be in Grand Junction this week.... does anyone need leafs from Alcan ?

oh..didn't know that. One of mine on one side occasionally pops out. Never falls out or anything. Easy to put back in too.

And yea Monte, I'll keep an eye on it. My drive down to GJ will be the tell all view and i'll know if it's do able. MUD SUCKS, so i'm with you there.

 

Yea we didn't set the repeater this weekend due to mud. Went up the mountain to check it out and only made it half way and it turned to soup.

Will need to be rain free for 3 days probably and sunny..

also..that means i have 4 days after work to build my new rack...

stupid metal shop..

 

haha! Yea it was sunny and hot here today so lots dried out here but if it rains again this week down there its effed. I'm still going out camping next weekend. The loop road opened this weekend, so access to Christina is open. Not sure how wet though. There's no snow so there's that...

Id like to do something too regardless. Or ill go do the repeater tower install if its nice cause its actually in the middle of nowhere in a cool place.

Christina would be fun. No way we could cross the river, but still. Id want my front skid back on for that too. Ill try and make that happen. I'll do that tomorrow actually.

Still want to do this whole trip though at some point.

 

Yes I'm really excited to run that route someday. We'll see how this week pans out.

Oh and I pulled my rear shocks last night Monte and they're good

 

I won't lie I won't complain if done later..when I haz go go fast rear shocks

 

I am down for no mud. I am still in for wherever.

And yes leafs. I am still running factory pack plus 2" aal

 

Hmm, throw out suggestions this week as you guys think of somewhere and I'll let you know how the desert looks on Monday.
