    The Taco aspect has nothing to do with it really. Your intended task is what's important.

    That said, unless you're planning to run high volume air tools I wouldn't call it overkill I would call it a waste. Even if you're running high volume air tools like grinders it wouldn't be a good choice because of the tank size.

    Really, that kit is good for one thing, blowing up huge tires. If you're not doing that, it's just kind of a waste.

    Oh and on the tool note, electric tools have come so far in the last few years that it pretty well negates the need from air tools on the vehicle.

    Thats what I'm mostly looking for, inflating tires after airing down and if anything run an air gun to not have to use the tire iron. And indeed, I don't think I'd need a 2.5 gallon tank. a 1 gallon would be much better size wise to fit into the taco. But is there anything else I have to do to be able to connect it to my seagate fuseblock which already has a 120amp circuit breaker?

    Find out the amp draw of the compressors. The seagate is only good for 30 amps per fuse, and i know my compressor needs a 50 amp, so i went with a separate circuit breaker just for it.

    Just an update on my set up. Switched to a high clearance rear bumper by ATO, so I made a new bracket for the rear coupler and CB antenna mount

    And added another 450c compressor.
    I put it in the tool box, but wanted a breathable barrier for it so I cut up a milk crate and fit it in the space.

    I mounted a coupler on my front All Pro bumper with a home made bracket. Also mounted a coupler on my old AP rear bumper and my current ATO HC bumper (see above)
