@BDN Brett, do you have time and desire to try to hit up Ballard or Greer on a weekday this week?

Depends on your definition of fun, lol.
Ballard has lots of mud, thick sticky shit that traps motorcycles in some spots. You will be winching through some of these. There is also several hill climbs, those shouldn't be a problem. Literally watched a guy on a bike hit one of the mud pits and stuck it like a gymnast.

Greer is simply a network of roads that meander around, lots of them interconnect, great views, nothing technical, no mud. Lots of neat spots to camp, usually very few people there because it's so far out. About an hour from Fort Collins.

Not a huge fan of mud so maybe Greer is the ticket. Maybe I try to get the fam up there for some camping. Mild enough to go solo?

Pretty disappointed with RCI right now. Went up there, visited Josh and he took a look at my truck. Told him I wanted front two skids. Today I go to install them and it just doesn't fit. Front holes don't line up and it hits the diff drop way before the plate is even close to lining up

Edit: sounds like I need some stock brackets to bolt em up. Think I trashed those cause my last skid did not use them. Bolted straight on. Guess I'm SOL cause the Toyota Parts department had no clue what the brackets were

Don't do this and you'll be fine.:D To be honest he got out with his own winch, I just helped pull cable, heckled, took pictures and gave him shit in general.
Snow's prolly gone by now anyway. But, yeah, no problem solo.

Is this the famous "Brett finally pulls cable for Troy and not the other way around" event?
