For what? Was the issue fixed before it went away?

Issue wasn't corrected but the new owner knows about it and has all the new parts. I now have a Gen 4 G17 NIBX...I traded with a coworker because he wanted to do a grip chop/cerakote/stipple thing...and I wasnt gonna let him molest a brand spanking new NIBX like that...

Since this is the BS thread I figured this is the place to ask the question. I'm looking for a nice gun cleaning kit for my 9mm. Maybe something with a boresnake, Hoppe's 9 cleaner, oil, and maybe a couple polymer picks. I've looked at the ones on Amazon and read some reviews. Maybe Hoppe's isn't even the best? I'm up for suggestions. I love shooting guns at the range but I usually just rent them for $5. But now I bought my first Glock 43 and need a good cleaning kit. Or obviously it can be sold separately and I can make it into my own kit.

    Anything helps. Thanks.

There is very minimal 5.45x39 brass on the market. Running new steel all the time is actually cheeper than reloading brass. And 99.9% of all my steel is CORROSIVE!!!!

So I'm debating a new handgun for shooting 3 gun. I've shot in one match and liked it enough that I think I'll buy a handgun and shotgun for it (have the AR already).

My problem is I'm picky when it come to handguns. I don't like glocks or XDs, or m&p. Basically I don't like striker fired and I'm not a fan of polymer. I shoot a 1911 mostly but the capacity and recoil hurt my times a bit.

I know I want a 9mm and I know that I want a hammer fired gun, DA/SA or better yet SA only for cocked and locked.

I'm not a fan of polymer but not against it either

I've looked at the STI 2011, but they are a bit out of my priced range. Anyone have any other ideas for me?

My current too 2 are a beretta 92fs or a browning hi power

Love shooting the Beretta 92FS. Really accurate 9mm. Its a pretty big gun for a 9mm. I'm a Glock guy. I've shot for years but I'm finally able to afford to buy a few now.

I didn't think about sigs for some reason, a 226 would be awesome.

I didn't think about the cz75, I need to shoot one to see if I like it

I should also mention that odds are I will be tinkering with he gun for a while till I get it how I want it, so something with upgraded parts available would be nice.

I fitted most the the parts on my current 1911, which included hand fitting the beaver tail, hand fitting and reamihrg a short chambered barrel, and and draw filing the backstrap to a perfect fit. So I'm not afraid of hand work on upgrades

Cz doesn't have a ton of upgrades, but I do know that trigger jobs thru Cajun gun works are fairly standard for those looking for an excellent trigger.

Really the only negative thing I've heard about Czs is their slide rides inside the frame so there is less to grab onto when racking the slide.

How about a good 'ole HK USP with a Jet Funnel kit. Jet Funnel mags, although pricey, are 18 rounds.
