That's good news since I own a 2010... 5yrs old. Too bad I'm not going to be selling anytime soon. Guess that's why the resale is so good on them. You're welcome. ;-)

No surprise with the number 1 & 2. I'm surprised the GM twins made the list. Also excepted to see more (non truck/SUVs) like some Subaru's. The main reasons why I bought a new Tacoma, the difference between a slightly used and new Taco is slim, I would rather pony up the extra $2-4k and get a new one.

Toyota's reputation and the proven resale value of the Tacoma is a major part of why I bought a 2015 Tacoma instead of the 2015 Colorado. Plus, quite frankly, my Tacoma comparably equiped was like $4k cheaper!! Go figure!

Where the hell did they get this figure?? LOL

I noticed that as well, they mention the 4.0, followed by the HP and Torque numbers of the 4 banger!

Yep. This is the problem with modern day "journalism". It's all about Copy + Paste. No attention to detail.

Like I said inaccurate facts....The GM twins are too new to be on the list anyway. Let's see where they'll stand 5yrs from now⬇️

Hmmm... So the Tacoma has a resale of 60.4%. The Jeep 58.9%. The trouble plagued previous gen Colorado which we all say on here as a GM vehicle will have totally crap resale is at 58.3%.

So according to this the "awesome" resale advantage of the Tacoma compared to the "crap" GM vehicle is 2.1% or on a $30K vehicle a whopping $600. If that's true it sounds like there is hardly any true resale advantage there at all.

These all seem based on KBB. How reliable is that for the 3rd party market with Tacomas?

Also interesting to note that essentially the entire list of the top 10 are trucks with a couple of SUVs thrown in.
