    Looks like its all done for a week or so. Lake Lewisville is about to flood a bunch of roads. Its coming up about a foot a day right now with no signs of cresting. And they can't let any out of the dam because the trinity is too high up. Another 3-5 feet and it will flood 35 between Garden Ridge and Lake Dallas. At that point it will be in peoples houses also. I was swimming in 7’ of water at Lake Park golf course today.

    Wheeling in Texas is different because about 99% of the land is privately owned. So, the places that allow wheeling are few and you have to pay. However, if you make friends with people that own land, you may get some action that way. My plan is always to leave the state and go west back to where the good stuff is. West Texas does have some places you can go.

    No BLM land around here. Don't worry, lots of gun ranges all over. Some are better than others depending what you want to shoot. There are places to wheel but it's different than having thousands of acres at your disposal.

    It doesn't mean you can't just find a trail and bomb it anyways, I've never had to pay to go wheeling here. Heck there's a big ass green belt behind our neighborhood

    Edit: and on the shooting part as long as you're out of city limits
