Just went to the bench to try and get lighting ohotos. U believe electrical activity. Got rained out. No...more like flooded. Holy shit. Strongest rain I've ever been in. And hail. My god. Was cool

Lol, gotta love Wyoming! Yea Evanston was gorgeous today, finally! The dunes last weekend were pretty wet..didn't need paddles on the bikes, and didn't stay long. Its been 3 pretty nice days now though so...

 

Rained every day up here this weekend.

That was just..insane though.

 

Have any of you guys heard of this Forrest Finn, and his supposed hidden treasure chest?

Freakn Moab is like an hour from where I am right now and it's torture I just have to be here to work and dont have my truck or bike.

I checked out the road on my way down for our desert trip end of this week and it looked ok from the start but it's likely messy further in. I'll leave it up to you guys. Monte and Steve i'm guessing you have a repeater to install since the rain and mud set you back? Jeff are you around and wanting to get out? Gage? Mac? somebody I probably missed? Jen and I are for sure getting out for a fire and camp this weekend.

 

I won't have Frank ready I think anyways. Not sure if we can do the repeater or not. Been super rainy up here every night all weekend.

I need some campfire time though. So maybe I'll come join you for a night either way.

 

Yea your gonna need some time on that rack fab for sure. I've had enough rain. Been nice and warm/windy the last few days so stuff is drying out near lander. Should be nice this weekend. The loop road above lander is only open to the lake at the top of the switchbacks. May open up all the way by the end of the week but I have some other options that could be sweet if it doesnt. That area we hit Monte is open for travel a bit in by that creek we gave the dogs a drink at last year after shoshone. Be sweet if you came down but no worries if you have some concrete to pour.
