Born in the 80s crowd (previously known as the 30s thread)

That thing was such a pile. It had just enough torque to make it halfway up the driveway before it permanently died. This is why I have never owned another RC car

 

When I was younger I had and still have this.

Had to build it. I still like getting this thing out from time to time. Needs some repairs though after many years of abuse.

 

I still have this up in the garage with less than 10 total run time.

We used to do the Slot car track races all the time. Had some pretty powerful little cars too.

 

Today is off to a bad start!!!!! I just read on the internet that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is considering starring in a remake of Big Trouble in Little China.

 

I kind of want to see San Andreas. But him being one of the leads, it kind of ruins it for me.

 

If he has a good supporting cast, he usually does alright. I have no idea who any of the other actors and actresses are other than Paul Giamatti and Kylie Minogue are. Now I got her stupid song stuck in my head.

 

Yeah. I'll give it a shot when it's out to rent or something.

 

Movie tickets cost almost as much as purchasing the movie these days. The days in which I used to go to the theater because I had nothing better to do are gone. I only go to see movies, I'm genuinely excited to see these days.

 

If you don't know who Alexandra Daddario is you need to watch True Detective. She is gorgeous, and like in the Seinfeld episode, "They're real & they're spectacular". You've definitely seen Carla Gugino in movies or tv shows before too.

 

Yeah Carla Cugino got naked in Sin City. Yummy. She was all grown up compared to Son In Law with Pauly Shore. Being that Big Trouble in Little China is one of my all time favorite movies I'm sad to see it remade. I was sad when the remade The Fog, Halloween, The Thing..anything by John Carpenter.

Now I feel like I've been living under a rock. I have definitely seen Carla. I haven't watched True Detective yet, but have heard great things.

 

Make time to watch. Awesome show.

Loved those things. I've seen (Vegas or somewhere) an indoor facility with a huge track.
