I have a slim version. What's your budget?

    you mean this JR version?

I dont want to spend more than $50 for system only and no more than $100 with games.

And not really looking for the JR version unless a good deal as the older bigger one supports S-video and has an eject button for longer pin life.
The JR version only supports composite cables and is harder on the connector pins, Nintendo cutting costs.

Yeah that's the one I have. And you're right, Nintendo cut costs with this model. There are modifications that can be done but I think one would be better off just getting the original model.

The husband of my brother's supervisor is the owner of Luna Video Games (www.lunavideogames.com). I think he gives him a discount whenever he buys something. I'll see if he can get a quote for the original Super Nintendo.

After you get your hands on a Super Nintendo I suggest getting an Ascii Pad.

Yeah I loved the Ascii pad and Advantage joystick from Asciiware, I have one of each ordered from ebay already, just need to find a system and some key games.
