They also make good whiskey. The nudes in the bathroom were quite a shock to my 82 year old grandma. lol

I've got a fenced back yard and a crazy chocolate lab for them, come on down.

I do like their whiskey. Know what I like even more though? The corks!! I've started using them as hardware knobs on some little drawers in our office and it looks cool! I actually like Buffalo Trace and Makers better than Pendleton, but their corks aren't as cool :)

I love how Hamley's has all those old fashioned nude/partially nude photos! Makes you feel like you walked into Deadwood or something. :)

This was the view from the place we used to stay at in NE Oregon. Until the guy sold the place ~1 yr ago. We've been flailing ever since to establish a new ideal lodging set up over there...trying a new place for a few days at Labor Day.

I was seriously depressed when I found out this guy was selling. Was a really, really cool set up. Nice hot tub on a massive deck, killer views all around, super private, 5 acres, deer running around in front yard, full wrap around porch with tons of spots to sit down and have a whiskey while drinking in that view. All on a really nicely built cabin with a rustic look but modern conveniences, and all for a very reasonable price compared to an average hotel room. Was our splurge every year to stay there for few days a couple times every summer and indulge in all eastern OR has to offer.

Hoping the new place we're trying is cool!

Another incredible Eagle Cap hike. Might have to try the llama or pack mule option soon, because we are quickly running out of day hike options there. It is so beautiful and your hard work is always rewarded over there with the awesome stuff you get to see, but damn do you have to hike a good long distance to get to that stuff!! :D

EDIT: And I'm too old and lazy to carry my own crap to spend the night outdoors. :D

Uh oh, look what I found a pic of. We had some fun in there once :D

Although I will say, it was not all I imagined it would be, after the rave reviews I'd heard.

Honestly, when I really think about it, instead we could have sat in a sauna while drinking straight whiskey to attempt to quench the thirst that comes with such an activity, while having someone vacuum the contents of our wallet, and also while getting slammed around, something like a cross between a mosh pit and a bad keg party. :D

Nonetheless, deserves a mention on a thread of this topic, dontcha think TW?

And quite possibly my most favorite place in Oregon of all. The top of what I call "Butterball" at Mt B. It gets all these crusty yet soft bumps and lips consisting of that lovely dry central Cascades powder. Me likely that run. A lot. This is how it is when we go there: :yay:
