    ok, here's the deal, i WILL NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE GIVE VERIZON ANY OF MY MOTHERFUCKING MONEY!!!!!!!

    i was a verizon customer for 4 years. when my contract was up i said "what will you guys do to keep my business?" the sales guy actually said "nothing, if you're not happy, try one of our competitors". these guys are so use to being number one they actually turn people away! ATT was willing to give me a free blackberry, verizon wasn't willing to do anyting. so eventually i went with Alltell. the service was not as good as VZ but the customer service was amazing. you'd walk in and they would fist fight each other over who was gonna help you. unfortunately i VZ bought out Alltel. so when i go to VZ now, they want me to sign into a goddamn que just to get a sales guy to talk to me. fuck that! then recently, my bill is about $10 more than its suppose to be. here is the basic summery of hte conversation.

    Me: (after jumping from automated system to automated system for 15 minutes, i finally talk to someone) i'd like to know why my bill is $10 higher than the last few months.

    VZ: sir, this is technical support, do you have problem with your hardware?

    Me: i swear to goddamn fuck, if you dont help me i will flip my shit! i've been trying to talk to a fucking human being for hte last 15 minutes and now you're telling me you cant help me?

    VZ: sir, please watch your language. i can help you but i need your patience.

    Me: what teh fuck are you gonna do? cut me off?

    VZ: yes sir.

    Me: ...... ok...... (at this point i realize its not the tech's fault and i need to stop cussing and yelling)

    VZ: how can i help you?

    me: my bill is higher than it is suppose to be. i signed a contract with alltell and if you dont honor it i want my contract canceled and i wont pay a fee for early cancellation

    (i get put on hold)

    he comes back....

    VZ: sir, it looks like you've been sending picture msg's and you dont have a camera phone. our records show you have a BB world phone

    Me: no, i have a curve. an 8330.

    VZ: are you sure?

    me: yes i'm sure, i take pics on it all the time. thats why i got it over the world phone, cause i wanted a picture phone

    VZ: sir, our records show you have a world phone, which does not have a camera.

    me: i'm looking at the back of my phone. it has a whole with a lenz, and i use the camera all the time. i'm 100% possitive it has a camera.

    VZ: are you sure?

    me: listen the fuck to me.... i have a fucking curve and it has a fucking camera

    VZ: sir, please watch your language

    long story short, i have to pull my battery and give them a serial number to confirm that my phone indeed has a camera. i asked him "how can i send pics if i dont have a camera phone?" he did not have an answer

    i shit you not, i spent 37 minutes on hte phone with this company trying to convince them that i indeed do have a phone that has a camera. plus i said, why does it matter if i have unlimited data?

    VZ: you do have unlimited data, but pic msg's do not count as data, you need a seperate plan for that

    Me: so pic msg's are data. i have unlimited data, but you want to charge me for pics?

    VZ: well if you have a camera phone you can get an unlimited pic plan, but it is seperate from teh unlimited data plan.

    at this point i start cussing again and get threatened to be cut off again. after 37 minutes i hang up, and he tries to fill out a form convincing verizon that i do actually have a camera phone

    i have never treated a customer service rep like this before. i actually started to feel bad but come on. 37 minutes arguing about what phone i had? needless to say, i will never, under any circumstance give VZ my money ever again, which sucks because the do have the best network by far.

    so heres my problem. tmobile is a joke, they are the Kia of phone services. sprint seems to have some reception problems. my buddy has them and hates them. i wont give VZ anyomre money. so i'm left with ATT. they have 2 phones that are decent. the BB bold, and teh iphone

    the bold is too old, i'd rather have the tour. i looked into the iphone but it is $30 higher each month than any other data plan because you have to have the iphone plan. so here's the deal. is there any way to get around the extra cost of an iphone?

    i feel completely screwed. VZ is impossible to deal with and all other companies suck. ATT is ok i guess but hte iphone is expensive on a month to month basis. does anyone have any suggestions? please help. also, tcbob, would you be interested in starting a website with me. i'm thinking "verizoncansuckmyballs.com.

    any input is appreciated

    i signed with alltel one year ago, now that VZ is taking over i hate it. im seriously considering backing out and paying my early cancellation fee and going to at&t. you are right the customer service at alltel was great and the fucktards at VZ dont know their shit from their heads. bunch of morons if you ask me.

    I love verizon coverage, but everything else about them sucks. I have an iPhone now..... wouldnt trade it for anything! Way worth it to me, especially since I connect it to the stereo in my truck all the time as an iPod then my calls ring through the speakers in my truck so I dont miss a call with my music cranked.

    my sister has an iphone and loves it, i want one sooooo bad. maybe come income tax season ill tell VZ to shove it up theyre VAG and peace out my way to AT&T beyotches

    I have the iPhone. Couldnt be happier.

    We (my mom,dad, and I) have 3 iPhones and we pay $300 bucks a month... Which is $90 less than VZ.

    at VZ:
    my mom: BB Curve 8300
    my dad: Old Motorola Q
    me: LG Dare

    AT&T has all of our business. Especially that they upgrade there service and everything else. Free Upgrades from iTunes(Apple).

    I mean we have that MMS messaging now. and its INCLUDED in the iPhone plan. I have 3G, E (regular service) and free WiFi

    hmm. i know that the guys that live where i work have to have at&t because VZ doesnt get good reception. so im thinking Iphone in the near future guys :D

    The iPhone is so overrated. Most of my friends have one and it is all awesome and stuff. But not for a phone. Its an awesome app machine. But just doesn't get my attention as a phone. Especially the price.

    If I had verizon's coverage with the Iphone I'd be a much happier camper. I know I could unlock it, but I don't really want to do that. ATT's coverage is crap, don't have much to say about their customer service because I've never had a problem that warranted it (knocks on wood).

    We debated on the iphone when me and my wife got married, decided to stay with verizon because of the blackberry service. I am an avid Blackberry user and will never venture away I am on my 4th blackberry, iphones are for multimedia and blackberry is for business, I love the debate though.

    I have the Cricket usb supposed broadband because I life in BFE. I called and changed my card on it because the old one expired and they updated it and 1 week later it goes off for non-pay. I know I paid and got a confirmation number but there is no-way at all to get through to them if you are off for non-pay. NICE! I had to pay the bill to debate whether I paid the freakin bill, no thats some customer service for ya! Apologies have become a requirement and I don't want to hear em, I want to hear how they are going to fix the issue.
