Oops, i was referring to GM's 4 cylinder. I think it's supposed to make 200hp and somewhere around 190ftlbs or something. Sounds decent.

The major turn off for me with the GM trucks was lack of a stick shift on 4wd models.

It makes it in the higher end, which leaves you entering the highway having to listen to a swarm of bees as the damn thing revs so high.

    WHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE!!!

    Nope.

And while this is not new, there is this quote from Kelly Blue Book regarding resale value. The Tundra also has the best resale value of all full size pickups according to KBB.
    "
Best Mid-Size Pickup Truck: Toyota Tacoma
    Price: $20,965
    Value in 36 months: 74.9% of MSRP — $15,703
    Value in 60 months: 60.4% of MSRP — $12,663

Not only is the Toyota Tacoma the most popular midsize truck on the market, it holds its value better than any other vehicle in America. With choices of engine, drivetrain, bed length, and cab style, there’s a Tacoma that will fit just about any truck-buyer’s needs.
    "

I'm not saying one truck is better than the other, it's all a matter of personal preference, but resale value is a consideration for many car and truck buyers.

Ahh. Peak numbers are not everything I guess. Is there a dyno chart for the GM 4 cylinder? I wonder what the torque curve looks like.
