I have installed the upper dash from a 2014 and Entune but I would like to put the Black A/C controller from the newer truck in mine too. I need to know if this has been done because the plug is different and wasn't sure how to get it done.

    Thanks,
    Grant

    yes.

but you either need the plug pigtail or make your own adapter. also an 06 model has the hot/cold reversed so youll have to mod that as well.

What pigtail? What do you mean they are reversed?

some salvage yards cut the plug off still plugged into the controls with a bit of wiring on the end, id suggest you find one of those cause its easier than making an adapter imo.

earlier models have a reversed voltage signal for hot and cold making the dials in the newer ones work backwards cause they have the opposite signals.

yes but only after I got the plug to solder onto my harness. I did not have to do the hot/cold swap mod tho, 09+ don't have the issue.
