Well, i didnt know where else to post this thread, so i decided on 2nd gen tacomas, cause well, its about a 2nd gen tacoma :)

Becareful with the viewing of this thread, as it might be painful for some to see!

So heres the story before the pictures:

I was traveling down the road in the right hand lane, getting ready to make a right hand turn onto the upcoming street which was approx. 150yrds away, traveling around 40-45mph. The two lanes to my left were completely stopped and backed-up due to the red light at the intersection. Then all of a sudden this guy, who was traveling on the same road going the opposite direction, decided to make a left hand turn, cutting inbetween the stopped cars to enter a bank parking lot, but little did he know, i was right there!

Beware, these pictures some might find scary or painful :( Just know that fortunately nobody was injured in the crash...but his little corolla was totalled though!

Here is the inital damage to my truck:

    a closer view:

a different angle of my bent-up IFS:

and his car: (Looking at the picture now, i now notice a dent of where my tire tried to run over his car..lol!)

My baby on the back of the tow truck:

    Heading to the body shop:

Seeing the damages to his car, compared to was is seen of mine, id say that tacomas are pretty close to INDESTRUCTABLE..haha but not really haha..but now im stuck driving around a purple yaris! they couldnt give me a better rental!! gah!! :goingcrazy: FOR 3 WEEKS!! I WANT MY TRUCK BACK!

That sucks all around. I'm glad you're OK, and you have a nice looking truck and wheels. I hope all is fixed like new.

I don't think Britney is the way you should go. I think NSYNC would be better.

it looks like you have suspension damage. If you do I would make the insurance company total it out so you can get a new one. I would not like the idea of driving a car with a repaired frame.

If it's totalled, can you get all the aftermarket parts back? I heard of people not able to get the aftermarket parts and other mods back. That would suck seeing how you got some nice stuff on that truck.

my friend totaled out a car that had all kinds of bolt ons added to it and the wrecker yard let us come up there and take everything as long as we replaced it with something like we took the black 18s off and put 4 15'' doughnuts on it so depending on what they say you may still be able to get everything off if you have something to replace it with
