Likely just a rotating issue. If they can at the shop you use have it trued, that's where they shave the little excess off to make the tire round again.

That's probably it. The more aggressive tires will do that all on their own if not rotated at every oil change. I personally wouldn't true it since from the pic it doesn't look that bad. Just move it to rear and let it fix itself.

 

My MTZs wore funky too on the front, even with alignments.

If you do a Google search for "kaena point permit" it should get you to the city and county of honolulu website. You can get the pdf application and mail it in

What was done to your truck?

 

I'm dropping my truck off at Servco tomorrow morning so they can take a look at my steering rack. It's been making a creaking noise at about 75% to full lock. My truck is still under warranty, which is why I'm having them look at it, but I hope they don't tell me to pound sand because of the coilovers and UCA's. People always say they have to prove that the aftermarket parts caused it to fail in order for them to deny the warranty, so we'll see what happens.

Thanks. Even if they can't fix it, it's okay because it's not bad. Just a creak. No difference in performance.

 

have not done anything yet truck just got here from TN and needed to do a safety to get it registered

 

If your Tacoma is stock then you won't have a problem passing safety.
