Got the new roof rack installed. I still have to clean up the wiring, but I love it.

Hi Peter--what did you end up doing with the Pelfreybilt roof rack after you got the Frontrunner? I love the look of the Pelfry but he doesn't appear to be fabbing them anymore, just selling the Front runners...You wouldn't, say, maybe be interested in, I dunno, selling the Pelfreybilt??? :D

So I need to make some updates in here with some pictures soon.

    - Changed both diff fluid, transfer case and transmission fluid.
    - Went to Moab
    - Broke rear diff
    - Fixed rear diff
    - Made it home safe
    - Front end is making weird noises... lol
    - Besides that all is good.

Not sure if you will have any issues, but I was glad that I got used gears to avoid the break in procedure. How nasty was the oil?

I heat cycled it when I left which was a pain and then changed it when I got home. It was nasty and black.

Yeah it was rough just sitting around letting it cool.

Haha I know, I know... Honestly though I cannot figure out what is making noise. Eventually I will figure it out, truck has been driving great though.

How's the wind noise with the double row LED bar?

So there is a high pitched whistle noise when the bar is at a certain angle. After a process of elimination I determined it is because of the spots I had to drill out to mount the light bracket I used. They are a little jagged still on the top and bottom. I put some painters tape over those spots and it eliminated the noise at completely. I do have my bar mounted pretty much dead center on the front runner racks so I don't know if it would make a difference it it was slightly off center.

No noise comes from the bar itself.

Thank you for the insight. I'm still deciding whether I want to mount a double row like yours or a single row under the rack and in front of the wind deflector. Hard to experiment with since Rigid light bars aren't exactly cheap!

That's pretty cool dude! I see you have an online store, no Merchandise yet though. You planning on making any shirts or hoodies or anything? That 4x4 logo is pretty cool. You make anything let me know and I'd buy one.
