    ya i was thinking of painting them black too but i dont know if its worth the effort. i really dont like the chrome or the big ass round tubes.

    plus 3 of the plastic steps are broken (corners snapped off in the cold)

    I have the wide steps and they are in good shape. I'd love to get sliders - i like the look, but I need the step, so, I'm kinda stuck :eek:

    ya i like the sliders too but for me they would be even less functional then the tube steps (not saying the sliders are not useful, they just dont suit my lifestyle :))

    i only use my steps to wash the top of my truck. i think my mom might use them on the odd occasion she rides with me
