Bought a set of 17inch KMC XD801 rims and am waiting for my tires to arrive from costco. Guy at the tire center recommended Michelin LTX A/T 2's in 265/65/R17. Just wanted to know if this will fit on a stock access cab without rubbing or interfering with anything. The rim specs said it has a 5inch backspacing and the offset is 0. Thanks!

I have Konig Countersteer type x with Pirelli Scorpions ATR in 265-65/17 and they only rub in reverese full lock with the stupid front black plastic thingy. Other than that they fit like a glove, and I'm on stock suspension. I don't remember what is the offset of the rims though. Hope that is of some use for you!!!

Thanks bro! Looks good on ur truck. Ive been doing some research n it looks like ur rims have a 4.1 inch backspacing and according to some sites, a 5 inch backspacking on a stock suspension might have some rubbing issues. Ill be going into costco today to put my new tires on and hopefully i wont need to add spacers for them to fit properly. Just crossing my fingers because i really dont want to spend more money on getting spacers

No worries Brother, sorry that I'm not an expert in the wheels and tires department and definitely hope your combo turns out great. And of course,

I am curious myself. About to buy a set of Level 8 MK6. Just not sure what is the best fit 17x8 or 17x9. Want to put on 265/70. I interested how much do they stick out. don't want to go overboard.

Surprisingly they dont rub at all even at full crank. Pretty satisfied even though i had to wait 4 fckn hours for these to be installed at costco lol. They stick out just a tad bit but nothing too major

iRay808, could you post a picture from the back (or front) along the side, so I can get an idea how they line up with the fender. It really would really help my decision making. Thanks in advance.

What was the backspace for those wheels? Do you notice wear on the ends as the tires are stretched to fit the 9" wide wheel base?

Sorry took so long to reply. There a 4 inch bs. I don't notice any harsh shoulder wear on the tires. They are bearly stretched you hardly notice it. My only complaint it is the poke a lil past the fender flair slings water when raining.

I already posted so forgive me I’m new to Tacoma world and the forum.
I have brand new at adventure’s in
265/65/r17’s. I would like to put pro Comp or American baja rims. I just love the plain black look. What size rim would work or does anyone run those rims?

I really wanted a set of old school micky Thompson’s but can’t find them in black.
Thanks if not may buy the eBay brand
Trd rims. Unless anyone near mi is selling rims please let me know
Ty and sorry if to long of post or wrong place
