Stuff and things that make it better.
Just buy some harbor rods and use your battery with your jumper cables, it's just a spot weld.

Dang, is that in a tough spot to get to?
Yea, I figured I'd give that a shot but haven't done it. Looks like I'll have to reset all my radio stations again.

I vote for C! I like my ditch lights and make use of them often, plus the whole setup costs well under $300.

My vote is for the CB. You don't have one? Obviously recommend the Uniden Pro 520xl, always hear everyone loud and clear, and the fitment is money in our trucks.

Other picks would be compressor (definitely convenient at Rausch and on trail) and then the alternator upgrade since you do rock a winch.

I'd say depends on what you would need/use more.

    Personally I vote for A or D.

I got my steering rack working yesterday finally. I think I installed the steering knuckle a spline or two off. I'll fix it after I get an alignment, I wonder if Firestone will do their lifetime alignment for my truck? I'll probably do the steering weld mod at the same time when I fix the splines/steering wheel.

You should be able to ask them to center the wheel for you, they are supposed to check that before aligning. I asked the guy at Les Schwab to do it and he got it spot on.

They will only fix it using the tie rods, they will not disconnect your shaft and fix it. I know this because I have been driving around like this for 6 months because I haven't had time to go through the ordeal of fixing it yet:

im not expecting them to align my steering wheel, i just want them to align my wheels lol. Now that i think about it i should probably fix it before i take it in for alignment.

Its really not that bad driving with the steering wheel like that, just sucks when your trying to put your turn signal on. I have to turn my steering wheel back a little just so i can put my left blinker on.

Anybody hard wire a dash cam?

If I mount the camera high then I will need to run the wire down the A pillar and to a 12v switched source under the dash.

If I mount the camera low and center then I'm hoping I can fish the wire directly behind the dash. I'm just not sure if there is a space there between the glass and the heat vent.

    TIA

Some lift, some armor, some scratches..
Na don't have one yet, I want it be be pretty much hidden when not in use so was thinking of going with the Cobra 75wxst and stashing it in the center console some how..

Yea those were my top choices too..

@ToyRyd04 thanks for the insight on the alternator:thumbsup:
I've got a couple old nitrous tanks :spy: .. Maybe I should just convert them to co2, just need to pick up a good regulator and a hose

Lookin like I'll go with the CB, and maybe use the rest of the $ to get a good snatch block
