350 for urethane paint 2 stage. They had enamel for 275 but this is a new truck so I want the paint to look new. They showed me both on cars on their lot, the enamel looked like a paint brush job. It was good, don't get me wrong, but definitely looked budget. The urethane paint they showed me looked factory on the bmw they had done.

Anyone who gives maaco crap is expecting too much for the money. They did great on my jeep doors. Has a 3 year warranty against fading too. By that point, IF it were to go bad, I'm sure I'd be going in another direction anyway.

I have some parts if anyone needs them:

Wheeler's single leaf AAL for 1st gens. About 50k miles.
Used leaf packs, complete (currently assembled with the above AAL)

Free to a good home before they go in the scrap pile.

I also have a pair of front uprights, and a pair of F-O-A bypasses for sale if anyone needs them...

If those leaf packs have life in them, I'm definitely interested. Mine are pretty much toast.

Hmm..... whats the extended/collapsed length on those FOA's, and what type of ends do they have?

Rod ends, 8" travel, two-tube. Cheap because they are very used. I have them on eBay right now, but I'd end early for a local (and cut a decent deal).
If you're capable of rebuilding any shock you can rebuild these. otherwise, I am told FOA has decent CS, although I sure haven't experienced it.

    ETA:
    24.25" extended
    16.25" collapsed

Piss and Vinegar..... wrong ends and too long on the collapsed side or id take them from you for my rear..... why Toyota, why did you have to use a non-rod end shock on your rear suspension!?!?

Cool, thats not too bad, do they do a clearcoat over the enamel or only the urethane? 275 isnt too bad if that includes the prepwork.

By rod end I mean 1/2" heim joints, not the post style at the top of later Tacoma rears. I had planned on using these on the rear, but went with 10" shocks.

Yeah, Sadly i haven't done the Shock Relocation and still need the post style top connection for rear shocks on my truck.... it kills me sometimes why manufactures don't make things easier by using commonly available parts

Enamel looks like a plastic coating. No UV protection. Urethane has clear mixed in.

Hmm.... maybe not then. Starting to have second thoughts on the shell..... if i buy it for 300, and then put another 275 in paint on it, that's almost retail on a new shell........

All, I have 4 centercaps from the 16" steelies to give away. Took them off the day I bought the truck. Also, will have a set of 4 tires for sale. Just ordered 265/70-17's and will have some 265/65-17 Nitto Grappler AT's for sale. About 1/4"-5/16" of tread left on them, very minor dry rot, VERY MINOR. $200 obo takes them.

My front bumper came today for my 4runner. I waited 8 weeks for it and it was delivered damaged, dented on top near the grill guard. I refused it. I called the manufacture, Savage Off road and the owner Roy said he can ship me another one in about 2 weeks. So far I'm impressed with their customer service and I read alot of positive reviews about Savage Offroad.
