    I did lots of sanding and then body filler which didn't really work so I sanded all that off and did sand able filling primer and sanded between coats. The last coat was still wet when I left so I'm not totally sure what it's like now but it was almost completely smooth before it

    So....
    Any of y'all know anything about John Deere tractors? I picked up another project this week, JD 1020 with front end loader, not sure of the year but the frame was cracked and brazed back together, and the engine (3cyl diesel) needs a complete rebuild.
    I'll get some pics when I get back from Ca

    Custom 3 link, 40's etc..
    My family had one when we lived on 100 acres in southern Ohio. All I know about is NEVER let it run out of Diesel like any diesel engine, and that we never had any problems with it. Sold it to my dads friend who still uses it and has never had a problem with it, probably about 20 years old now.

    Thats cool that you know the guy still uses it.
    I really hope I can restore the tractor and use it once we get the shop built, and depending on how well it runs I'd like to keep it in the family.
