    OP what are the odd of the remote code being already used by a factory or other aftermarket key? Only reason I ask is I would assume Toyota wouldn't program two alike because they would know every code they issued. I'm probably being to paranoid.

    What are the dimensions of the flip key? Trying to see how thick it is.

    If I buy a flip or AiO, but need the immobilizer chip, is it difficult to open my stock key, remove the chip, and insert it into your key? Is that all that is required (aside from having the key cut)?

    Got my replacement key back in the mail today, Thank you Santiago!

    I have both key styles now, gotta say I prefer the flip key, much more comfortable in my pocket!

    You have to cut it open with a knife. I saw a vid, might be on the OP's web page, looks pretty easy. Lotta hard rubber to slice, gotta be careful!

    I guess I misread, FCC# GG43VT20T IC 1470A- IT or 1T, fob is kinda beat up... It has a "G" stamped on key blade...

    I love my flip key for my Tacoma that I got from http://www.ovnisf.com/toyota-flip.html. It looks like it is about 5/8 " thick and is a little smaller than the flip key that I got for my 2015 Camry LE. One of the great things about Toyotas is all of the
    after market goodies that are available for them.

    Thanks! I didn't think the flip was dead since it's still on the site. 5/8" isn't too bad. Is it durable (the flip mechanism, mainly)? Did you have any issues with the immobilizer chip?

    I've read a few more post about flip key, seems oem battery sucks, switch to another for better range and consistency.. Mine shipped today, hopefully I'll have it by Tuesday, get it cut and programmed by Wednesday... HOPEFULLY

    The flip key seems to be pretty durable, of course I've only had it a couple of weeks. I used an immobilizer chip left over from a previous car. You can get the flip key with the chip. I reprogrammed the chip with my ebay techstream. I programmed the door lock portion manually with instruction from the OP's web site. The only issue that some folks may have is this flip key does not have a workable panic button. Not an issue for me because I never use it. And it is the only flip key that I was able to find for the Tacoma.

    I am definitely interested in getting one of these keys. I hate my separate key and remote. I want the flip key.

    pretty slick! My wife has a 2013 Venza with the all in one key and i was really surprised when i bought my 2015 Tacoma it didn't come factory with an all in one key. I guess I'll just have to do the factories work for them!

    Use this link to get the key fob programming instructions.
    You can start the programming mode without a fob. If you can successfully enter the programming mode (step 11),
    you have keyless entry. Takes about 5 minutes.
